1. The Holy Trinity - We believe there is but one living and true God, everlasting of
infinite power, wisdom and goodness; the maker and preserver of all things, visible and
invisible, and in unity of this Godhead there are three persons of one substance, power
and eternity . . . The Father, The Son (The Word) and The Holy Spirit. Gen. 1:1; John
15:26; Matt. 28:19; 1John 5:7

2. Jesus Christ - We believe the Only Begotten Son of God was conceived by The Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried to
be a sacrifice not only for Original Sin, but also for the actual sins of men, and to
reconcile us to God, in resurrection, He came forth from the dead, took again His body,
together with all things appertaining to the perfection of man's nature, wherewith he
ascended into Heaven and is there engaged in intercession for us. Luke 1:27-35; John 1:14;
John 3:16

3. The Holy Spirit - We believe The Holy Spirit, proceeding from The Father and The Son, is
one substance, majesty and glory with The Father and The Son, very and Eternal God. He is
ever present and efficiently active in and with the Church of Christ, convincing the world
of sin, righteousness and judgement; regenerating those who repent and believe,
sanctifying believers and guiding into all truth.

4. The Holy Scriptures - We believe in plenary inspiration of The Holy Scriptures, by which
we mean the sixty-six books of the Old and New testaments to be given by divine
inspiration. These scriptures we hold to be the infallible written word of God, superior
to all human authority, containing all things necessary to our salvation. Job 35:4;Matt.
28:19; John 14:17; Gal. 4:6

5. Original Sin - We believe that Original Sin is the corruption of the nature of every man
and is naturally engendered of the offspring of Adam, whereby man is wholly gone from
Original Righteousness, and of his own nature inclined to evil and that continually. We
believe that Original Sin continues to exist in the life of the regenerate until
eradicated by the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Jer. 17:9; Psalm 51:5

6. The Atonement (Ground of Salvation) - We believe that Jesus Christ, by the shedding of
His own blood, and by His meritorious death on the cross, made a full atonement for all
human sin, and that this atonement is the only ground of salvation, and that it is
sufficient for every individual. The atonement is graciously efficacious for the salvation
of the irresponsible and those not having reached the age of moral responsibility, but is
efficacious for all others salvation only when they repent and believe.
Acts 4:12; Gal. 2:16; Heb.10:14; 1 Tim 2:5,6.

7. Free Will - We believe the condition of man after the fall of Adam is such that he
cannot turn and prepare himself, by his own natural strength and work, to faith and
calling upon God. But being created in Godlikeness we believe all have been granted the
ability to choose between right and wrong, and that they are made morally responsible. Thus
grace is freely bestowed upon all men, enabling them to turn from sin to righteousness,
believe on Jesus Christ for pardon and cleansing from sin, and follow good works pleasing
and acceptable in His sight. Despite this, man, after receiving the experience of
regeneration and entire sanctification, is free to elect the way of sin again and may thus
apostatize and be eternally lost except he repent of his sin and be restored to divine
favor. Jer. 10:23; John 6:44; Phil. 2:13; Phil. 4:13.

8. Repentance - We believe that genuine repentance toward God consists in a knowledge of, a
sorrow for and complete change of mind about sin plus a voluntary confession and forsaking
of the same. This is brought about by a knowledge of both the goodness and severity of God
through the medium of the truth and the convincing power of the Holy Spirit. It is
required of all who have by act of purpose, become sinners before God. Matt. 3:2; Mark
1:15; Luke 13:3, 5; Acts 3:19.

9. Justification, Regeneration and Adoption - We believe that justification is that
gracious and judicial act of God, by which he grants full pardon of all guilt and complete
release from the penalty of sins committed, and acceptance as righteous, to all who
believe on Jesus Christ and receive Him as Lord and Saviour. We believe that regeneration
is that work of the Holy Spirit by which the pardoned sinner enters spiritual life, this
work is received through faith in Jesus Christ, whereby the regenerate are delivered from
the power of sin which reigns over all the unregenerate so that they love God and through
grace serve Him with the will and affections of the heart. We believe that adoption is
that gracious act of God whereby the justified and regenerated believer is made a son of
God, receiving even the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father. Acts 13:38, 39;
Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8-9. We further believe that justification, regeneration and adoption are
simultaneous in the experience of seekers after God and are obtained upon the condition of
faith in the merits of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, preceded by repentance and that to
this work and state of grace the Holy Spirit bears witness. Rom. 8:15; 2 Cor. 5:17.

10. Entire Sanctification - We believe entire sanctification to be that work of the Holy
Spirit by which the child of God is cleansed from all inbred sin through faith in Jesus
Christ. It is subsequent to regeneration, and is wrought when the believer presents
himself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, and is thus enabled through
grace to love God with all the heart and to walk in His holy commandments blameless. Gen.
17:1; Matt. 5:48; John 17:17, 19; 1 Thes. 5:23; Heb. 10:14.

11. The Return of Christ - We believe that the return of Our Lord Jesus Christ is to be
personal, literal and pre-millennial as well as imminent. We distinguish between the
Rapture- - His coming in the air to receive His saints which may occur at any moment - -
and the revelation, His coming down to earth with His saints which will not occur until
after the manifestation of the Antichrist and the Great Tribulation. 1 Thes. 4:13-18.

12. Future Reward and Punishment - We believe that God has appointed a day in which He will
judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ, according to the Gospel. The righteous
shall have in Heaven an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled and that fadeth not away. The
wicked shall go away into everlasting punishment, where the worm dieth not and the fire is
not quenched. Luke 4:36; 1 Peter 1:3-4; Matt. 25:41-46.

13. The Sacraments - We believe the sacraments ordained by Christ are not only tokens of
Christian profession, but are also certain signs of grace and God's good will toward us,
by which He works in us the strengthening of our faith in Him. There are two sacraments,
namely, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is not only a sign of profession and mark
of difference whereby Christians are distinguished from others who are not so walking, but
also a sign of regeneration or new birth. The Lord's Supper is not only a sign of love and
a memorial feast, but is also a sacrament of our redemption by Christ's death, and a token
of His coming again; insomuch to such as rightly, worthily and with faith receive the
same, it is made a medium through which God communicates blessing and strength to the
heart. Matt. 28:19-20; Matt. 26:26-28.

14. Divine Healing - We believe in the Bible doctrine of divine healing and urge our people
to seek to offer the prayer of faith for the healing of the sick. Providential agencies
and means, when deemed necessary are not to be refused. James 5:16; Matt. 10:8.
